The second half began in a similar vein, and once again, the number seven proved lucky for Corby. On 47 minutes, the ball fell invitingly to Skye on the edge of the box. With a perfect blend of power and placement, she unleashed a thunderous drive that rippled the net, doubling Corby’s advantage. The Zebras tried to respond, mounting spirited counter-attacks, but Corby’s defense remained resolute, a fortress Tring could not breach.
