A former Northampton Town youth player, Parsons left the Cobblers and signed for Wealdstone. He then signed Dual Registration with AFC Rushden & Diamonds before spending the remainder of the 2016/17 season at Rugby Town.

Parsons signed for the Steelmen in November 2016 on loan and made 2 appearances before returning back to R&D.

The following season was spent with Barton Rovers and Daventry Town before signing for Melton Town in the summer of 2018.

Most recently, Parsons has spent time on loan at Harborough Town before joining the Steelmen!

Robbie will go straight into the squad for this weekend’s clash away at Wantage Town.

The loan period is initially through to the start of January.
