The 6-A-Side tournament for local Junior and Primary School was proudly sponsored by Golden Wonder and took place on the Corby Town first team pitch.

There were 8 schools who enetered:
Beanfield, Woodnewton, Exeter, Our Ladys, Studfall, Priors Hall, Kingswood & Gretton.

With Studfall, Kingswood, Gretton and Exeter falling at the quarter final stage, Beanfield and Woodnewton both ran out 2-0 winners in the semi finals against Our Ladys and Priors Hall respectively.

The inaugural winners of the Jimmy Kane Cup were Woodnewton after a hard fought 1-0 victory in the final.
