Corby Town are pleased to announce Alex Street has joined Gary Setchells backroom staff as Goalkeeper Coach.

Alex spent 10 years at King's Lynn Town, working his way from step 5 all the way up to the National League.

Following his departure from The Walks, Street signed for Bedford Town, where he captained the side to Southern League Division One Central glory.

We caught up with Setch following his new arrival:

Alex started his career at Wisbech as a 17 year old under myself , then was one of my 1st signings at Kings Lynn where he went on to have 4 promotions from step 5 to national league over a 400 game span. He then captained the Beford team to a league title in 2022.

Alex, more commonly know as Pedro, unfortunately has a injury which has put his goalkeeping on hold , but his enthusiasm and energy for the game has not curtailed. He is a serial winner and will bring that mentality to the football club and dressing room , as well as a specialist coach for our goalkeepers"
