The ladies went into today’s game on the back of two good results but were against a good Lutterworth side who are 3rd in the league.
Corby started well creating chances while remaining hard to beat, the goal came from Kelly O’Sullivan, a looping shot over the keepers head from a corner. Corby created numerous other chances but couldn’t convert.
Second half Lutterworth turned up the heat like we expected, they dominated possession but Corby remained firm, restricting Lutterworth to only a few chances while creating some chances of our own. Lutterworth did however manage to pull a goal back from a corner, a mix up between our goalkeeper and defender meant they clawed one back.
Corby didn’t let the flood gates open though, the ladies remained focused and kept calm, grinding out a very well earned point.
